Lifelines?
Is there a way to insert lifelines as you knit? I've been using a tapestry needle to thread crochet cotton through the row just knit, but it would be faster if I could figure out a way to do it as I was knitting. Suggestions, anyone?

Kate, now that you've issued a challenge, I'll try it and let you know if I can come up with a way. I'll let you know if I can come up with one. I can see one in my mind, but I don't know if it would successful. It would be slower for that row, but still, the time you spend threading it through the following row is slow as well too. Hmmm...
