FROG POND

Well, last night I visited the frog pond....had a dropped stitch that I could not easily fix and it was below my lifeline.....WAH! I am now on row 6 of chart A instead of started the second chart A sequence..........

Margie, I was encouraged to go look for "holes" after reading your post and found a *large* hole below the first lifeline and into Chart B for the third time, eight row.

Ripit!

Oh, well. This afternoon, I will start again with my new "tools" of weigh down and lifelines on the rows *after* the yarnover rows. So, we'll be starting together. (:

Margaret, the real nice thing about this is that we are not alone! Thanks for the encouragement and I have started knitting back and am almost through chart A....will someone please tell me why I like knitting lace? I truly do but getting going is so frustrating. The one thing though that I have gleaned through going back to the frog pond repeatedly is gaining confidence in knowing the pattern. A lot of the "mystery" of the pattern is gone now...if only I could not drop stitches...

Hee-hee. :D Margie, every time I start a new lace project, I have to do several false starts. DH wonders why I keep doing this to myself! lol Finally, after blocking the last shawl, I asked him if he understood and - he got it. (:

Going in there in just a few minutes to knit and will be on my guard at the decreases making sure I have all 3 of those little boogers in there. I managed a little bit before church this morning.
